Lidoran Environmental Services (LES) in early 2007, were engaged to undertake their largest project to date for one of Australia’s largest and best known companies.
The 28,000 sq mtr asbestos vacuum clean & wet wipe of the roof space was carried out on specially erected scaffold platforms. These works were undertaken in a carefully planned and controlled manner by the LES workers above the warehouse employees & the normal daily operation of the company.
Working above the tenants employees during their daily operation provided challenges the LES workers had never experienced before on any other project. The guys rose to the challenge under the guidance of the LES site supervisor, who at times spent more time on the shop floor addressing perceived project issues with employees rather than supervising the LES troops.
The LES guys worked six days a week for sixteen weeks to complete the project ON TIME and ON BUDGET.
