SYDNEY WATER

 

Lidoran Environmental Services recently completed an asbestos remediation project for Sydney Water at the Potts Hill site located in Cooper Road, Birrong. 

 

The scope of works for the project included the vacuum cleaning of all purlins, wall girts, columns, framing, floor & wet wiping of steel components of the structure.  The total surface area of cleaning was approximately 7885 sqm.

 

Lidoran Environmental Services also engaged and managed a sub-contractor to prepare then encapsulate the asbestos cement corrugated roof & wall sheeting by painting the internal & external surfaces of the building.  The total surface area of paint encapsulation was approximately 15,770 sqm.

 

Throughout the course of the project, Lidoran Environmental Services and their sub-contractors performed diligently and in a manner that I considered safety conscious. Lidoran took great care in ensuring that potential safety risks and occupational and environmental hazards were identified and managed throughout the project.

 

All aspects of the Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Safety Management plans were satisfactorily adhered to and meet the standards necessary to comply with Sydney Water requirements.

 

The final standard of work was excellent and the site handover undertaken professionally and efficiently. Any Client requested changes and (although very minor in number) defects were dealt with as a priority and in a courteous fashion.

 

I would be pleased to recommend Lidoran Environmental Services to other Government agencies or for engagement on similar projects.

KLEENHEAT GAS

 

 

As the Environmental Advisor for Kleenheat Gas Pty Ltd, I recently engaged Lidoran Envornmental Services to conduct asbestos removal work at our Camellia LPG Terminal. This project was challenging for me to coordinate as i am located in Perth.

 

I wish to formally thank Lidoran for the high standard of service that was demonstrated during this project. I would particularly like to commend Phil Archer for his customer service and project management. He made this otherwise challenging project very straightforward and I had full confidence in him at all times.
